Cookies Policy
50 Tickets uses a minimal amount of browser storage and no advertising or third-party tracking. Here's exactly what's stored and why.
Language preference (locale)
A cookie that remembers your chosen language (EN/FR/DE/PT) for one year. Strictly necessary for the site to display in your preferred language.
Theme preference (local storage)
Your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. It never leaves your device and is used only to render the site in your preferred theme.
Staff session cookies
When 50 Tickets staff log in to the admin dashboard or door-scanning app, a session cookie keeps them signed in. This is not set for ticket buyers.
Visit statistics (no cookies)
To show event organisers how many people visit an event page and press its ticket button, we count visits on our own servers. Nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address and browser type are combined with a secret key and the date into a one-way code that changes every day, so a visitor is counted once a day without being identifiable; the IP address itself is never stored. These anonymous counts are not shared or used for advertising.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising, cross-site or third-party tracking cookies on 50 Tickets, and our visit statistics use no cookies at all.
Payment page
When you proceed to payment, you're redirected to our payment provider's own secure checkout page. The payment provider may set its own cookies there under its own privacy and cookie policies, which are separate from ours.
Managing your storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will simply reset your saved language and theme preference.
