Cookies Policy

50 Events uses a minimal amount of browser storage — no advertising or analytics tracking. Here's exactly what's stored and why.

Last updated: July 2026

Language preference (locale)

A cookie that remembers your chosen language (EN/FR/DE/PT) for one year. Strictly necessary for the site to display in your preferred language.

Theme preference (local storage)

Your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. It never leaves your device and is used only to render the site in your preferred theme.

Staff session cookies

When 50 Events staff log in to the admin dashboard or door-scanning app, a session cookie keeps them signed in. This is not set for ticket buyers.

What we don't use

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on 50 Events.

Stripe checkout

When you proceed to payment, you're redirected to Stripe's own hosted checkout page on stripe.com. Stripe may set its own cookies there under its own privacy and cookie policies, which are separate from ours.

Managing your storage

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will simply reset your saved language and theme preference.
